Chudthebuilder

Dalton Levi Eatherly, known online as Chudthebuilder, is an American livestreamer who gained notoriety for confrontational IRL streams in Tennessee. His content, characterized by racial slurs and harassment, drew widespread condemnation and platform suspensions. In May 2026, he made national headlines after a shooting outside the Montgomery County Courthouse in Clarksville, leading to attempted murder charges. His brief online career ended with his incarceration, making him a cautionary figure in the streaming world. [edit]

Eatherly was born and raised in Clarksville, Tennessee. Details about his childhood and education are scarce. He began his online presence around 2024, creating an X account under the handle ChudTheBuilder. His early content quickly gained attention for its provocative, racially charged tone, often described as rage bait. He transitioned to the Kick streaming platform in 2025, focusing on IRL streams that escalated his notoriety. [edit]

Eatherly's streaming career spanned roughly 2024 to 2026. He started posting on X in 2024, then launched a Kick channel in 2025, both under the name ChudTheBuilder. His streams involved confrontations with Black individuals, using racial slurs and harassment to provoke reactions. This content brought him a following but also led to platform bans. His notoriety peaked in May 2026, when a Nashville steakhouse incident and a courthouse shooting resulted in his arrest and national media coverage from CNN and ABC News. [edit]

Eatherly's public image is overwhelmingly negative, defined by his use of racial slurs and confrontational rage bait content. Media outlets describe him as a controversial livestreamer known for racially charged streams. His online persona is aggressive and inflammatory, attracting viewers drawn to provocative content. No official fandom exists, and his following consists largely of those interested in controversy. [edit]

Chudthebuilder's global attention is a study in notoriety: he amassed a significant following on streaming platforms, but his fame is overwhelmingly negative and centered on controversy. As of August 2026, iFANN's Global Fame Engine has evaluated him, but he does not currently hold a placement in the published rankings, neither the Global Top 1,000 nor any Top-100 scope list. This means he is not among the most famous people worldwide, nor does he rank in any specific category. His audience is largely drawn to his inflammatory content, but there is no formal fandom name documented in iFANN data. His fanbase, if it can be called that, consists of viewers interested in controversy rather than a cohesive community. Despite his lack of ranking, his story has made national headlines, demonstrating how quickly someone can become a cautionary figure in the streaming world.[edit]

His alias Chudthebuilder is a play on Bob the Builder, with Chud being a derogatory term. His entire online fame lasted less than two years. At the steakhouse, he ordered two entrees, drinks, and appetizers totaling $371.55 before refusing to pay. Both Eatherly and the other man in the courthouse shooting were wounded; it's unclear if both were armed. The courthouse shooting itself became the defining legend of his brief career: in May 2026, he was involved in a shooting outside the Montgomery County Courthouse in Clarksville, Tennessee, leading to attempted murder charges and a $1.25 million bond. The incident made national news, as it involved a livestreamer whose own content had centered on confrontation. After nearly three months in custody, he was released on August 10, 2026, after posting bond, though he faces additional charges in Davidson County. This event, more than any stream, cemented his place in streaming lore as a cautionary tale.[edit]

No information is publicly available about Eatherly's parents, siblings, or children. His family background remains undocumented. [edit]

No frequent collaborators or associated public figures are documented. The second individual involved in the May 2026 shooting has not been publicly identified. [edit]

No public information exists about Eatherly's dating history or romantic relationships. As of 2026, his relationship status is unknown. [edit]

No reliable estimate of Eatherly's net worth is available, a gap the iFANN Editorial Team notes stems from his brief and controversial career rather than a lack of income sources. He earned revenue through livestreaming on Kick and X, though specific figures remain undocumented in public records. There are no known business ventures or endorsements tied to his name. As of 2026, he is incarcerated and facing significant legal costs, leaving his financial status uncertain.[edit]
