Chen Zhuoxuan grew up in Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou province, in a supportive family environment that encouraged her artistic pursuits. Unlike many idols who drop out of school early to train, Chen prioritized her education. She attended Shanghai Maritime University where she studied at the School of Foreign Languages. Her first major exposure came in 2016 when she auditioned for Hunan TV's Super Girl. Chen won first place in the Xi'an regional competition, showcasing her vocal talent to a wider audience. Although she finished 15th in the national finals, the experience provided crucial stage time. Following the disbandment of the resulting Super Girl Group in 2017, she began taking on acting roles to build her portfolio. Her debut character was You You in the web drama Cloud Guest Jianghu, followed by an appearance on the variety show Sound of My Dream Season 2. These early steps laid the groundwork for her eventual breakthrough in the survival show circuit. [edit]

Chen Zhuoxuan's career shifted into high gear in 2019 when she appeared as Ah Qing in the blockbuster xianxia drama The Untamed. In 2020, she competed in Tencent's Produce Camp 2020. Known for her powerful belting and emotional stage presence, she became one of the top contenders throughout the series. She finished fourth in the finale, securing a spot as a member of the nine-member girl group BonBon Girls 303. As the group's main vocalist, she led many of their key performances.

Following her debut, Chen expanded her work into soundtrack contributions. Her commercial success continued through 2023, where she was featured in the TME and Billboard China collaboration project THE ONE Endless Dream. By June 2026, she publicly revealed a rare ear disorder diagnosis, marking a personal health challenge during her peak career years. Despite this, she continues to film projects and maintain her status as a leading artist in the industry. [edit]
