Nezuko Kamado

Nezuko Kamado was born on December 28, 2001, in a mountain home east of Mount Sagiri. She was the second eldest child of the Kamado family, who made a living selling charcoal. Her father was ill, so Nezuko helped her mother care for her younger siblings, showing a nurturing and cheerful nature. On a fateful night while Tanjiro was away selling charcoal, the demon king Muzan Kibutsuji attacked their home, slaughtering the entire family and transforming Nezuko into a demon. When Tanjiro returned, he found Nezuko alive but changed, with bloodshot eyes and fangs. Despite her demonic instincts, Nezuko recognized her brother and protected him from the Demon Slayer Giyu Tomioka, who arrived to kill her. In the final battle against Muzan, Nezuko is gravely injured but miraculously begins to revert to human form, a process completed after Muzan's defeat.
