He eventually became the leader of the Hellfire Club, a Dungeons & Dragons group that faced intense scrutiny and rumors of Satanic worship during the 1980s cultural panic.

Living in a trailer park on the edge of town, Eddie worked as a guitarist for a local band while dedicating his free time to running elaborate campaigns for his club members.
