Char Aznable

Char Aznable is the alias of Casval Rem Deikun, son of Zeon Zum Deikun, the philosopher who founded the Principality of Zeon and advocated for spacer autonomy. After Deikun's death, which Casval believed was orchestrated by the Zabi family, he and his sister Artesia were sent into hiding. To evade assassination by Kycilia Zabi, Casval assumed the identity of a deceased friend, Char Aznable, and enrolled in the Zeon military academy under that name. In Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, Char, under the alias Quattro Bajeena, joins the AEUG and mentors Kamille Bidan, fighting against the oppressive Titans. His final arc in Char's Counterattack sees him leading Neo Zeon, attempting to force humanity into space by dropping an asteroid on Earth.
