Chained Soldier

Yuuki Wakura trips over a hidden entrance to the Mato dimension while chasing a stray cat. Before he can fall into the abyss, Kyouka Uzen drags him back to safety. She is the strongest officer in the Mato Defense Force, and she needs a partner who can absorb her power. This accident binds Yuuki as her slave, granting him abilities that turn the tide of battle against the Shuuki monsters.

Takahiro wrote the story while Yohei Takemura handled the artwork for this series originally titled Mato Seihei no Slave. It launched on Shueisha's Shōnen Jump+ platform on January 5, 2019. The manga mixes high-octane action with harem tropes set in a world where women hold all the physical power due to their connection with the Peach Tree.

By June 2025, the franchise had moved past 5.5 million copies in circulation. The story continues to expand its lore about the Onmyouji warriors and the origins of the demon city invasions. An anime adaptation followed in 2024, leading to further interest in the ongoing serialized chapters. [edit]
