Celina Jaitly

Celina Jaitly may not have a shelf full of acting trophies, but her impact goes beyond awards. Winning Miss India in 2001 was a defining moment that launched her into the public eye. She used that platform to become a successful actress and, more importantly, a vocal activist. Her work with the LGBT community in India, especially her support for the repeal of Section 377, has been widely praised. She has also been a strong voice for education reform, drawing from her own family's struggles. In 2026, she is making a bold comeback with a biopic, showing her resilience and dedication to her craft.
