Carson Wentz achieved a feat rarely seen in professional sports by becoming the first player from the FCS to be drafted in the top two picks of the NFL Draft. His 2017 season stands out as a statistical marvel for a player from a smaller division, culminating in the prestigious Bert Bell Award. Leading the Philadelphia Eagles to their first Super Bowl title in over half a century cemented his legacy as a transformative figure for the franchise. His three consecutive FCS national championships at North Dakota State University remain a testament to his dominance at the collegiate level.
