Carlos Peña

Carlos Peña's career is defined by a remarkable comeback story. After struggling early, he exploded in 2007 to lead the American League in home runs, a season that still ranks among the best in Tampa Bay history. His back-to-back 30-homer seasons from 2007-2009 set a franchise record that remains unbroken. In broadcasting, he has achieved a level of recognition rare for former players, winning three Emmy Awards. His recent foray into sports technology as CFO of Catalyst Crew Technologies shows his ability to reinvent himself, while his role as GM of the Leones del Escogido demonstrates a continued passion for the game. Peña's journey from first-round draft pick to All-Star to Emmy-winning analyst to executive is a testament to his adaptability and work ethic.
