Carlos Castillo Mattasoglio

Castillo's career is marked by significant ecclesiastical milestones rather than formal awards. His appointment as Archbishop of Lima and subsequent elevation to cardinal are honors in themselves, reflecting the trust placed in him by the Vatican. His leadership in addressing abuse and promoting social justice has earned him moral authority within the Church.
