Born on January 26, 1988, in Nuremberg, Germany, she holds Turkish heritage but was raised in Germany before moving to Turkey to pursue an acting career. Her biography is defined by a unique dual background: early professional modeling in Germany and extensive classical ballet training, which preceded her transition into dramatic acting.

Tosun has built a reputation for portraying complex, often tragic female characters in popular Turkish series. She brings a distinct European sensibility to historical and contemporary dramas, praised for her strong dramatic performance and versatility. Her childhood was marked by early exposure to the performing arts. At the age of four, she began working as a professional model for various German brands, launching her career in front of the camera while still a young child. Alongside her modeling work, she dedicated fifteen years to studying ballet at the German Opera, a discipline that instilled the physical discipline and expressive capability later essential to her acting roles. She spent her formative years in Germany, where she attended school and developed her artistic foundation before relocating to Turkey to enter the entertainment industry.

The transition from the stage to the screen required significant adaptation. After completing her intensive ballet training, she moved to Turkey to study acting formally. She initially took on minor roles in Turkish television series to gain experience and build a portfolio before securing more substantial parts that would define her career. [edit]
