Skattebo's college career was historic. He became the first FCS transfer to lead the FBS in rushing touchdowns and all-purpose yards in the same season. His 21 rushing touchdowns in 2024 were the most in Arizona State single-season history. He was one of only two players in FBS that season to record a passing, rushing, and receiving touchdown in a bowl game. His Peach Bowl performance is considered one of the greatest in Arizona State history.
