Cam Newton's career is marked by historic achievements. He is the first African-American quarterback to win the NFL MVP outright, and he set rookie records for passing and rushing yards. His 2011 season included a record 14 rushing touchdowns by a quarterback. Newton was named to the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team and is a member of the Carolina Panthers Hall of Honor. His Heisman Trophy season at Auburn remains one of the most dominant in college football history.
