Caitlin Cronenberg

Caitlin Cronenberg arrived in Toronto on October 27, 1984, stepping into a family deeply embedded in the Canadian arts scene. She is the daughter of director David Cronenberg and the sister of filmmaker Brandon Cronenberg, yet she carved out her own path as a photographer and film director. Her work focuses heavily on celebrity portraits and editorial photography, capturing subjects with a distinct, intimate perspective that separates her from her male relatives' often darker cinematic themes. While she grew up surrounded by film sets and industry giants, she chose to master the camera behind the scenes first before moving into directing.[edit]
