    About This Album

Camila Cabello released C,XOXO on June 28, 2024, marking her first project under Geffen and Interscope Records after leaving Epic. The album functions as a thematic love letter to Miami, weaving the city's original area code 305 into lyrics about coming of age and desire. Musically it departs from her earlier polished pop sound to embrace a jagged mix of hyperpop, dance, R&B, and hip-hop that critics described as charmingly awkward.

The standard edition contains 14 tracks featuring collaborations with Playboi Carti, Lil Nas X, Drake, JT, Yung Miami, and BLP Kosher. A later "Magic City Edition" expanded the list to 18 songs by adding four new tracks and a feature from Eem Triplin. While some reviewers felt the dense stylistic shifts created a fragmented listening experience, others praised the record for its willingness to trade safety for an experimental identity.
