Budi Sudarsono

Budi Sudarsono's greatest achievement lies in his contribution to the 2007 AFC Champions League campaign with Persik Kediri. Leading the team to the group stage and scoring twice against the tournament winners, Urawa Reds, he secured a place in Indonesian football folklore. This performance demonstrated that a club from a non-metropolitan city could compete with Asia's elite. His legacy is defined by this historic run, which elevated the profile of Persik Kediri and inspired future generations of players from East Java. While he lacks formal trophies or global rankings, his impact on the sport's development in his homeland is widely acknowledged and respected.
