Bruiser Brody

Bruiser Brody's record is that of a wrestler who never needed a belt to be a draw. He worked as a special attraction across North America and Japan, and his feuds with the Fabulous Freebirds and Abdullah the Butcher became fan-canonical. His inductions into the St. Louis Wrestling Hall of Fame, the Southern Wrestling Hall of Fame, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame, the National Wrestling Hall of Fame, and the WWE Hall of Fame reflect a career built on authenticity and violence rather than titles. The Lex Luger shoot and the shower stabbing have kept his name in circulation decades after his death.
