BrodyAnimates

Brody Boutcher was born March 27, 2005, in Canada (The Famous People) — and by 12 he was already an animator. As BrodyAnimates, the Calgary, Alberta creator (FamousNamesPedia) turned school-project doodles into one of YouTube animation's biggest storytime channels: identical-twin tales, summer-camp disasters, and Q&As drawn in his clean, expressive Adobe Animate style.

Fans showed up for the jokes and stayed for the honesty. Three million-plus subscribers later, Brody employs a small production team and keeps teasing 'HUGE new projects in the works.'[edit]

Born Brody Boutcher, March 27, 2005, Canada; raised with identical twin brother Brock and older sister Jade. Drew from childhood, idolized YouTube animators, and actually started the channel back in November 2013 with Mario Plush videos (FamousNamesPedia).

The pivot came in January 2018: at 12, he uploaded 'The Quest For the Cookie (School Project),' his first animation, built in Adobe Animate. Modest views, relentless uploads — daily-life animations and vlogs that sharpened the voice future millions would love.[edit]

'Being an Identical Twin' went viral and the channel ignited, followed by 'VIDCON 2018!! (Animation + vlog) ft. My face' and 'Almost Died At Summer Camp.' Subscriber milestones stacked fast: 100,000 by February 2019 (FamousNamesPedia).

July 2021: the Haminations/InfamousSwoosh animation passes 7 million views. December 2024: 3 million subscribers — and Polygon examines his career alongside Haminations and illymation, noting the small team now behind the videos (Polygon). 'HUGE new projects' remain teased, not premiered.[edit]

Relatable, down-to-earth, funny about himself: the animator who turns twin chaos and camp mishaps into everybody's memories. Clean expressive art, character-driven stories, playful social voice. A community cheerleader as much as a creator — collabs, promo for indie series, suggestions straight from the comments.[edit]

Three million strong and nameless — no fandom title, no rituals, no folklore beyond the videos themselves. The bond is suggestions-taken, behind-the-scenes-shared, indie-animation-boosted (see: 'Patrick Foxy'). The iFANN Global Fame Engine ranks Brody #40,443 globally and #30,244 in his category as of October 19, 2026, outside the published Top lists. Live iFAMOUS YouTube figures: 3,160,000 subscribers and 907,105,817 total views as of October 13, 2026.[edit]

Self-confessed weakness for 'dense objects' — keeps buying unnecessary stuff. Gamer to the bone. Adobe Animate devotee. Promoted indie series 'Patrick Foxy' to his audience. Takes video suggestions from fans. No legends, no crowd incidents: the most notable moments are the video titles themselves.[edit]

Raised in Canada with identical twin Brock — the co-star of his breakout video and a channel favorite — and older sister Jade, who prefers the background. Close-knit, supportive from day one; Brody credits them with keeping him grounded. Gaming, family time, animation: that's the off-camera life.[edit]

Fellow storytime animators Haminations and InfamousSwoosh (July 2021 collab passed 7M views) plus Junky Janker — VidCon-forged friendships with regular collab videos (The Famous People). Voice actor Aidini Tortellini ('My Random Thoughts (Brody Edition)').[edit]
