Brian Downey

Brian Downey's greatest accolade is the lasting respect of his peers and critics. AllMusic's Eduardo Rivadavia called him "certainly one of the most underrated [rock drummers] of his generation." His drumming on Thin Lizzy classics like Jailbreak and Live and Dangerous is studied by drummers worldwide. His co-writing credit on "Cowboy Song" shows his musical versatility. While formal awards are absent, his influence on rock drumming is immeasurable.
