Brendon McCullum's playing career was defined by fearless batting and record-breaking performances. He remains the only New Zealander to have scored a Test triple century, and his 54-ball hundred in his final Test is a world record that still stands. He was the first player to pass 2,000 runs in T20I cricket and the first to hit two T20I centuries. As a captain, he led New Zealand to the 2015 World Cup final and the 2009 Champions Trophy final, inspiring a generation of Kiwi cricketers with his aggressive approach.
