Produced by Andrew Watt and the duo Monsters & Strangerz, the track fuses disco-funk, house, and 80s Europop into a retro-futuristic dance-pop sound. Lyrically, Lipa sings about the fear of falling for someone who might break her heart, a theme that resonated deeply during the early COVID-19 pandemic.
