WME Group

WME Group, known until 2022 as William Morris Endeavor (WME), is a dominant American talent and media holding company headquartered in Beverly Hills, California. Its roots trace back to 1898 with the founding of the William Morris Agency, making it one of the oldest talent agencies in the world. The modern entity was formed in April 2009 when the William Morris Agency merged with Endeavor Talent Agency, orchestrated by Ari Emanuel and Patrick Whitesell, who remain co-CEOs.

The company's core business is talent representation, covering actors, directors, writers, musicians, comedians, digital creators, authors, and athletes. It also provides brand strategy, licensing, and speaking engagements. Beyond representation, WME Group owns significant stakes in major sports and entertainment properties. Through its parent company, Endeavor Group Holdings, it is the majority owner of TKO Group Holdings, which controls both the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). The company also operates the IMG agency (sports, fashion, events) and owns a substantial stake in the production company Fifth Season.

WME Group is a market leader in talent representation, competing directly with Creative Artists Agency (CAA), United Talent Agency (UTA), and Paradigm Talent Agency. It holds a unique position as the only major agency that also owns premier sports and entertainment properties like UFC and WWE. For the fiscal year 2024, Endeavor Group Holdings reported total revenue of approximately $6.6 billion. In March 2025, a private equity consortium led by Silver Lake completed a deal to take Endeavor private, valuing the company at approximately $13 billion.
