Voepass Linhas Aéreas, a name that briefly echoed through Brazil's skies, emerged from the consolidation of Passaredo Linhas Aéreas and MAP Linhas Aéreas. This airline focused on connecting regional communities, with its central hub located at Leite Lopes Airport in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo. For a time, it represented a significant portion of Brazil's domestic air travel landscape. In the year leading up to its abrupt end, Voepass carried nearly three-quarters of a million passengers, holding a modest yet present 0.3% share of the domestic market based on revenue passenger kilometers. This positioned it as the fourth-largest domestic carrier in the country.

However, the airline's operations were abruptly halted on March 11, 2025. The National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) cited "non-conformities related to the company's management systems" as the reason for suspending all flights. This action followed a period where the company apparently failed to rectify identified flaws. The situation rapidly escalated; LATAM Airlines quickly terminated its codeshare agreement the following day. The Ministry of Justice and Public Security pointed to these persistent management system issues, compounded by a prior fatal accident in Vinhedo-SP, as the driving forces behind the severe regulatory action.[edit]
