Sprite

Sprite is a lemon-lime soft drink introduced by The Coca-Cola Company in 1961. It was developed to compete directly with 7 Up, which had dominated the lemon-lime category since 1929. The brand's caffeine-free, crisp formula quickly gained traction, and over the decades Sprite has expanded into numerous flavor extensions including cranberry, cherry, grape, orange, tropical, ginger, pineapple, and vanilla, alongside diet and zero-sugar variants.

Sprite is the world's best-selling lemon-lime soda, sold in more than 200 countries. Its marketing has long been intertwined with basketball and hip-hop culture, positioning the drink as a fresh, authentic choice. In March 2026, Sprite launched a new global platform called "It's That Fresh" across 180 markets, introducing updated visual and sonic identities and deepening its ties to music and spicy food culture.
