RedeTV!

Amilcare Dallevo Jr. and Marcelo de Carvalho breathed new life into Brazilian television in November 1999 by acquiring the assets of the defunct Rede Manchete. They rebranded the station as RedeTV! and established its main operations at the Centro de Televisão Digital in Osasco, São Paulo. This facility acts as the central hub for news production and programming distribution across the country, with additional studios maintained in Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte.

The network carved out a unique identity by focusing on accessible entertainment and local news coverage while pushing technological boundaries. It became the first broadcaster globally to air content in 3D, a move that highlighted its ambition despite holding a smaller market share than giants like Globo. By 2018, the channel held approximately 0.7 points of viewership among the top five networks, relying on a loyal niche audience and distinct regional programming to stay relevant.

Recent years have seen a strategic pivot toward sports and digital integration. The network secured Free-to-Air rights to broadcast NFL games in Brazil starting in August 2022, including historic matchups like the Packers vs. Eagles game in São Paulo during September 2024. In April 2025, it expanded this portfolio further through a partnership with BETesporte. On the streaming front, RedeTV! launched RedeTV! GO, a platform offering live TV, on-demand content, and FAST channels to complement its traditional lineup. [edit]
