Kelme

Brothers Diego and José Quiles launched a small workshop in Elche, Spain, in 1963 that would eventually grow into a global sports brand. The company formally restructured as New Millennium Sports, S.L., around 1977 to expand its operations beyond regional boundaries. Today Kelme produces footwear and apparel for football, futsal, running, basketball, cricket, and tennis while maintaining its base in Alicante.

The brand carved out a distinct market position by offering cost-effective kit solutions to professional clubs without the premium price tag of giants like Nike or Adidas. A major turning point arrived in May 2020 when Watford FC switched suppliers from Adidas to Kelme in a deal reportedly worth £10 million. That partnership remains active through the 2026-27 season with the release of new kits featuring the club's classic Happy Hornet logo.

Kelme solidified its standing in Spanish football by extending its long-standing partnership with RCD Espanyol until 2030. In February 2026 the company secured a three-year official apparel deal with Australian A-League side Brisbane Roar. These high-profile contracts demonstrate the manufacturer's ability to compete on the international stage while dominating the futsal sector where it holds significant market share. [edit]
