Fox Weather

It was created to compete directly with The Weather Channel and AccuWeather, filling a gap in Fox’s portfolio for a dedicated weather service. The network is headquartered at 1211 Avenue of the Americas in New York City, sharing space with Fox News.

Fox Weather was announced in early 2021 and officially launched on October 25, 2021, as a digital-first, 24/7 weather network. It was developed by Fox News Media, leveraging the company’s existing news infrastructure and talent pool. The service was designed to be available across multiple platforms, including over-the-air digital subchannels, streaming services, and linear television.

Fox Weather offers continuous weather forecasts, severe weather coverage, and climate-related content. It is available through FAST platforms such as YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, The Roku Channel, FuboTV, DirecTV Stream, Xfinity, Cox, Xumo, Amazon Fire TV, Sling Freestream, Dish Network, Samsung TV Plus, and Pluto TV. It also broadcasts on over-the-air digital subchannels via select Fox Television Stations and MyNetworkTV affiliates, and simulcasts on Fox Business on weekend mornings from 6 to 9 AM ET. During major weather events, it often simulcasts on Fox News or Fox Business. Digital access includes its own website (foxweather.com), mobile apps, and the OTT service Tubi.
