By early 2026, this fleet had completed approximately 16,000 deliveries across five U.S. states: Texas, Michigan, Arizona, Florida, and Kansas. The initiative targets a 60-minute delivery window for small packages weighing up to five pounds directly to customer doorsteps.

The brand also serves as the primary identifier for Amazon Air, the massive virtual cargo airline that relies on leased aircraft from carriers like Atlas Air and Kalitta Air to transport bulk shipments globally. While the drones handle final delivery legs, the cargo division manages long-haul freight using large aircraft such as the Boeing 767. Despite the technical ambition, the brand faced a severe setback in September 2026 when an Amazon Prime Air Boeing 767F operated by 21 Air overran a runway at Miami International Airport.
