To fund its vital work, the organization established a commercial division called AgeCo Limited. This business unit sells practical products and services tailored for later life, including insurance, legal advice, funeral plans, and mobility aids. Every profit generated flows directly back into the charity to support its mission.

Leadership operates through a Board of Trustees rather than a traditional corporate CEO structure, though senior executives manage daily operations. Caroline Abrahams has served as a prominent Charity Director, frequently speaking on policy issues affecting older adults. The headquarters sits in London, serving as the hub for the national body and its commercial arm. The organization maintains a massive global presence through its network of over 300 local Age UKs across England, along with distinct branches in Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, as well as its international development programs.
