Undead Unluck

Fuuko Izumo stands on a bridge railing, ready to end her life because touching anyone brings them misfortune and death. She jumps but lands in the arms of Andy, an immortal man who has suffered for centuries without finding a way to die. This meeting sparks a partnership where Fuuko becomes the only person capable of killing Andy, while he offers her protection from the guilt that nearly drove her to suicide.

The duo joins the Union of Superhumans, an organization tasked with monitoring entities called Negators whose abilities break the natural laws of reality. These powers operate under specific conditions known as Rules, creating unpredictable scenarios that range from comedic accidents to existential threats. The narrative explores how these characters navigate their cursed existences while uncovering a conspiracy that threatens the fabric of the world itself.

Yoshifumi Tozuka serialized the series in Weekly Shōnen Jump from January 20, 2020, through January 27, 2025. The story concluded after five years with 27 collected volumes released by Shueisha. Viz Media handled the English publication, bringing the complete run to North American audiences shortly after each chapter appeared in Japan. [edit]
