Uncle From Another World

Takeshi Wakabayashi wakes up from a thirteen-year coma to find the world has changed, only to discover he carries memories of an actual otherworldly adventure. The series Uncle From Another World follows his nephew and aunt as they try to reintegrate this strange man into modern life while he recounts tales of magic, demons, and swords. Hotondoshindeiru launched the web manga in June 2018 through Kadokawa Shoten's ComicWalker platform. Yen Press handles the North American release, and by April 2026, fifteen volumes exist. The story balances dry humor with genuine fantasy elements as the uncle struggles with technology like smartphones and video games.[edit]
