School Babysitters

Ryūichi Kashima and his toddler brother Kotarō lose their parents in a plane crash, leaving them without any other relatives to care for them. The older brother enrolls at St. Ikuo Academy, where the stern president Moritaka Hayashida takes pity on the siblings and offers them a place to live. To pay for their room and board, Ryūichi joins the school's daycare club, a group of male students who look after the children of faculty members during the day.

The series follows the daily antics of the club as they manage chaotic toddlers like the energetic Takumi Usami and the shy Shunpei Tsubaki. While balancing high school academics and teenage social struggles, the boys learn patience and responsibility through their interactions with the little ones. The story focuses heavily on the healing process following trauma, showing how the brothers find a new home and family within the academy walls.

Hari Tokeino serialized this work in Hakusensha's LaLa magazine from 2009 until its conclusion in 2018. The author crafted twenty-seven tankōbon volumes that collected the complete run of the story. Yen Press later acquired the rights to publish the English translation, making the series available to international readers in both print and digital formats. [edit]
