My First Girlfriend Is a Gal

Meguru Ueno launched his romantic comedy series My First Girlfriend Is a Gal in November 2015 within Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Shōnen Ace. The story follows Rintaro Tsurumi, a high school student who has never dated and finds himself unexpectedly paired with Ayana Shiina, a stylish and outgoing girl known as a gyaru. Their relationship forces Rintaro to navigate the social norms of youth while dealing with his own inexperience. The manga ran for over two years before concluding its serialization across twenty-one collected volumes. Fans could also watch the tale unfold on screen when NAZ adapted the work into a ten-episode anime that aired from July through September 2017.[edit]
