Medaka Kuroiwa Is Impervious to My Charms

Mona Kawai stands at the top of Hakone High School's social hierarchy, convinced that her beauty and charm guarantee affection from everyone she meets. Her certainty crumbles upon meeting Medaka Kuroiwa, a transfer student who treats her flirtations with complete indifference. Medaka is a monk-in-training bound by vows to reject worldly desires, including romance, which renders him immune to Mona's attempts at seduction. The resulting dynamic plays out as a comedic clash where Mona exhausts every romantic trope in her arsenal while Medaka interprets her actions through a lens of literal friendship or mundane necessity.

Production teams announced a second season immediately following the first finale, with teaser visuals released in May 2026 confirming a January 2027 premiere date.
