Inu × Boku SS

Cocoa Fujiwara crafted a supernatural romance in Inu × Boku SS that blends high school drama with yōkai mythology. The story follows Ririchiyo Shirakiin, a reincarnated fox spirit who moves into the mysterious Tōhōkan Apartments after escaping her past life as a demon lord. She teams up with her assigned bodyguard, Soushi Miketsukami, to navigate a world where humans and spirits coexist while hiding from dangerous enemies. Fujiwara serialized this series in Square Enix's Gangan Joker magazine between April 2009 and February 2014. Fans collected the narrative across eleven tankōbon volumes before an anime adaptation by David Production aired from January to March 2012.[edit]
