Picking up two years after the events of the beloved Kamen Rider W television series, Fuuto PI plunges back into the noir-infused streets of Fuuto City. Written by Riku Sanjo, the original series writer, and brought to life with art by Masaki Sato, this manga sequel, which began its serialization on August 7, 2017, dives deeper into the lives of private detective Shotaro Hidari and his partner, Raito "Philip" Sonozaki. While they still transform into the powerful Kamen Rider W to battle the mysterious Dopants using corrupted Gaia Memories, the narrative spotlight shifts more firmly onto Shotaro. His world expands with the arrival of Tokime, an enigmatic amnesiac who becomes his new assistant, drawing them into a web of intrigue connected to the story's antagonists. Published in Shogakukan's Big Comic Spirits, the series allows for more mature storytelling than its television predecessor.

This continuation explores darker mysteries and character-driven plots, a deliberate choice by Sanjo to delve into themes suitable for the seinen demographic. The collected volumes, reaching 20 tankōbon by May 2026, showcase the ongoing adventure that has also spawned a popular anime adaptation by Studio Kai in 2022 and a film, Fuuto PI: The Portrait of Kamen Rider Skull, in 2024.
