Erased

Kei Sanbe's Erased, originally titled Boku dake ga Inai Machi, ran in Kadokawa Shoten's Young Ace magazine from June 2012 through March 2016. The eight collected volumes follow Satoru Fujinuma, a 29-year-old delivery driver with a strange ability called Revival that forces him back minutes before tragedies occur. When his mother is murdered in the present day, the power transports him 18 years into the past to his 10-year-old self in 1988.

Satoru discovers that his mother's death links directly to the abduction and killing of three elementary school classmates. He must solve these cold cases while hiding his true age from adults who view him as a child. The narrative weaves between the tense 1980s timeline where he protects a young girl named Kayo Hinazuki and the present day where he hunts for clues. This dual-timeline structure drives a psychological thriller focused on childhood trauma rather than complex time paradoxes. [edit]
