Boyish Girlfriend (ボーイッシュ彼女が可愛すぎる, Bōisshu Kanojo ga Kawaii Sugiru) is a romantic comedy manga that follows the daily life of a high school couple where the girlfriend has a tomboyish charm that her boyfriend finds irresistibly cute. Written and illustrated by Gyūnyūmugigohan, the series started as a self-published webcomic on the author's Twitter account in August 2024. Its popularity quickly caught the attention of Square Enix, who picked it up for official serialization on the Pixiv Comic platform under their Gangan Pixiv brand in March 2025. The manga plays with gender presentation tropes, focusing on the sweetness of a relationship where the girl is confident, sporty, and a little rough around the edges, while the boy is more openly affectionate and flustered by her every move. With short, punchy chapters and expressive art, it has become a favorite among fans of fluffy, low-stakes romance.
