Bona's acting career took off in 2022 when she swept nearly every Best New Actress award for her role in Twenty-Five Twenty-One, including at the Baeksang Arts Awards, one of Korea's most prestigious ceremonies. She became the first WJSN member to win a Baeksang. In 2023, she won the Top Excellence Award at the MBC Drama Awards, a rare honor for an idol-turned-actress.
