Blake Christian

Christian Hubble, known to the world by his ring name Blake Christian, is an American professional wrestler currently signed to All Elite Wrestling and its sister promotion Ring of Honor. He stands as a prominent figure in modern wrestling, recognized for his technical proficiency and high-flying agility. As of 2026, he serves as the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion alongside stablemates Jay Lethal and Lee Johnson.

Cementing his status in the industry, Christian recently challenged for the ROH World Title and continues to headline major events across the AEW roster. His work with The Lethal Twist has elevated him to one of the most respected competitors on the national stage, blending veteran guidance with his own energetic style. [edit]

Before stepping into the spotlight as Blake Christian, Christian Hubble grew up in Orlando, Florida, where he developed a deep fascination with professional wrestling. Like many fans who eventually turn pro, he spent countless hours watching matches and practicing moves in his backyard or local gyms. While specific details about his formal education remain private, his athletic foundation was built during these formative years in Central Florida.

Hubble adopted the persona Blake Christian early in his career to create a distinct identity separate from his birth name. He spent several years honing his craft on the independent circuit, working for various promotions to gain experience against diverse opponents. This period allowed him to refine a unique blend of technical grappling and high-risk maneuvers that would later define his style. He built a solid reputation among indie fans, often described as having a promising trajectory even before signing with a major national promotion. [edit]

Christian's breakthrough came through his rapid ascent on the independent scene, where he garnered critical acclaim for performances in Combat Zone Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. These early stints showcased his versatility and ability to adapt to different wrestling cultures, leading to opportunities in larger organizations like Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

His transition to All Elite Wrestling marked a new chapter, where he quickly integrated into the main roster. A pivotal moment arrived when he joined the faction The Lethal Twist, led by veteran Jay Lethal. Within this group, he formed the sub-unit The Swirl with Lee Johnson, elevating his profile significantly. In early 2026, the trio captured the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship in their first reign together, cementing their status as top-tier competitors.

Following this tag team success, Christian emerged as a serious singles contender. By April 2026, he had challenged Bandido for the ROH World Title, signaling his readiness to compete for the promotion's highest prize. Despite his focus on AEW and ROH, he maintained ties to his roots, scheduling a return to Combat Zone Wrestling in March 2026 to reconnect with the independent scene that launched his career. [edit]

His style combines technical grappling with high-flying agility, making him a fan favorite for his in-ring psychology. He embraces a "Vanilla Baby" persona that adds a layer of humor and contrast to his serious athletic output, engaging audiences with a mix of humility and confidence. [edit]
