Björn Ulvaeus's songwriting partnership with Benny Andersson is one of the most successful in pop history. Together, they wrote ABBA's catalog of timeless hits that have sold hundreds of millions of records. The Mamma Mia! franchise, which Ulvaeus co-wrote and produced, has generated over $4 billion in revenue from stage productions, films, and merchandise, making it one of the most profitable musical properties ever. In 2010, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of ABBA. In 2024, he was knighted into the Swedish Royal Order of the Polar Star, First Class, for his contributions to Swedish culture. His work continues to reach new generations through ABBA Voyage, which has drawn millions of fans to London since 2022.
