Bismah Maroof's career is a story of resilience and record-breaking achievements. She became Pakistan's leading run-scorer in both ODIs and T20Is, surpassing 2,000 runs in each format. Her 3,017 ODI runs without a century is a world record. She captained the national team for seven years, leading them to historic victories. In 2023, she was honoured with the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, a testament to her impact on and off the field.

AwardsMaroof won the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in 2023, one of Pakistan's highest civilian honours. She also earned a Player-of-the-Match award during the 2011 Women's World Cup Qualifier against the Netherlands. Her consistent performances earned her recognition as one of Pakistan's finest cricketers.
