Billlie is a seven-member girl group under Mystic Story, a subsidiary label of SM Entertainment, active since their debut on November 10, 2021. They are known for a richly developed narrative universe built around mystery, memory, and a missing girl named Billlie Love. Each album chapter expands this lore, making them one of the most conceptually ambitious groups in K-pop. Their music blends pop, R&B, and experimental elements, with intricate choreography and expressive performances. The group currently has seven active members: Moon Sua (Main Rapper, Lead Vocalist, born September 9, 1999), Suhyeon (Main Vocalist, Lead Dancer), Haram (Main Vocalist), Tsuki (Main Dancer, Sub Vocalist), Sheon (Main Dancer, Lead Rapper, added in early 2022 after competing on Girls Planet 999), Siyoon (Main Rapper, Lead Dancer, born February 16, 2005), and Haruna (Lead Vocalist, Lead Dancer, Maknae, born January 30, 2006). On April 1, 2025, the group announced their first sub-unit, Moon Sua X Siyoon, which debuted on April 7, 2025, with the single "Snap" featuring Sokodomo. As of 2025, all members are active, with Moon Sua and Suhyeon having returned from health-related hiatuses in April 2024. Billlie was formed through Mystic Story's trainee system, Mystic Incubation Camp. The original six members trained under the label, which is a subsidiary of SM Entertainment known for artistic freedom. On November 10, 2021, they debuted with the EP The Billage of Perception: Chapter One and the lead single "Ring X Ring," a dark, cinematic track produced by industry veterans including lyricist Kim Eana and composer Lee Min-su. The EP also featured "The Eleventh Day," co-produced by Malaysian producers Audi Mok, Izham Omar, and Tilla Hanna. In early 2022, Sheon, who had competed on Mnet's Girls Planet 999, was added as the seventh member, completing the lineup. The group's name is a play on words combining "Bi" (rain in Korean), "11," and "lie," referencing their lore about purple rain and deception. Their first studio album, The Collective Soul and Unconscious: Chapter Two, was released on May 6, 2026, with the title track "ZAP."
