Big30

Rodney Lamont Wright Jr. arrived in Memphis, Tennessee on December 28, 1999, and now commands attention as Big30. This rapper, singer, and songwriter carved out a distinct space in the hip-hop scene by leaning into his local roots while collaborating with some of the genre's biggest names. His breakthrough moment came during 2021 when he featured on Pooh Shiesty's track "Neighbors". That single climbed to number 51 on the Billboard Hot 100, introducing his melodic flow to a national audience. His debut project King of Killbranch dropped later that same year and showcased an impressive roster of guests. The mixtape features heavy hitters like Lil Durk, Future, Quavo, Moneybagg Yo, Pooh Shiesty, Big Homiie G, Yo Gotti, and Offset. These collaborations highlighted his ability to hold his own against established veterans while maintaining his unique Southern cadence. The project solidified his reputation as a rising talent who could deliver both hard-hitting bars and catchy hooks. Big30 continues to build his catalog through consistent releases and live performances. He has appeared across multiple film and television projects that spotlight the culture of his hometown. While specific counts vary by source, his presence in media reflects a growing footprint beyond just streaming numbers. At 26 years old, he remains focused on expanding his artistic range without losing the authenticity that fans first connected with.[edit]
