About This Song
Katseye released their second extended play Beautiful Chaos on June 27, 2025, through a joint venture between HYBE UMG and Geffen Records. The six-track project spans fourteen minutes and twenty-six seconds while blending pop, hyperpop, and dance-pop elements to explore themes of celebrating confusion. This sophomore release follows the group's formation via The Debut: Dream Academy and marks a distinct evolution in their sonic palette.
Production duties involved a wide roster of industry veterans including Pink Slip, Tim Randolph, Hitman Bang, Slow Rabbit, Andrew Watt, and John Ryan alongside Western hitmakers like Ali Tamposi and Charlotte Aitchison. The EP arrived after the Latin-infused single "Gabriela" and the chart-historic lead track "Gnarly," which secured the group's first entry on the Billboard Hot 100. Physical editions appeared in multiple formats such as the standard Beautiful Ver. and the Target-exclusive Chaotic Ver.
