Barry Sanders holds a unique place in sports history as the only player to rush for over 1,000 yards in each of his first ten seasons. His 1988 college season is ranked as the third-most impressive individual feat in college sports history by Sports Illustrated. He was the unanimous choice for the Heisman Trophy in 1988 and went on to win the NFL MVP award in 1997. He was selected to the Pro Bowl every year of his career and named First-Team All-Pro six times. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2004 and named to the NFL 1990s All-Decade Team.
