Barion Brown

Brown's college record is unusual for a player drafted in the sixth round. He earned first-team All-America honors as a return specialist from the Sporting News in two different seasons at two different SEC programs, Kentucky in 2023 and LSU in 2025, which required him to re-establish himself in a new scheme and a new return unit after transferring. He added Associated Press All-Bowl Team recognition in 2023 and a College All-True Freshman Team selection in 2022. The Saints' roster biography goes further, describing him as statistically one of the top special teams playmakers in college football history on the strength of his multiple career kick-return touchdowns. At the professional level his record is still being written.
