Bamby

Bamby's greatest achievement lies in bringing French Guianan dancehall to a global audience. She was the first female dancehall artist from French Guiana to gain significant traction in mainland France and across the Francophone world. Her single 'One Love' has been streamed over 10 million times on Spotify, a milestone for an independent artist from a small overseas territory. She has been featured in French Vogue's 'Music Issue' and was named one of the '50 Most Influential French Caribbean Women' by a regional magazine. Her independent business model, avoiding major labels, has inspired other overseas artists to pursue self-managed careers.
