Aziz Nasirzadeh

Aziz Nasirzadeh's achievements were recognized entirely within the military and governmental spheres of Iran. His most significant distinction came posthumously when he was declared a Shahid (martyr) by the Iranian government and the IRGC. This designation elevated him to the status of a national hero and foundational figure in Iran's defense sector. The IRGC Commander-in-Chief publicly honored him as a key architect of Iran's modern defense industry. Memorial services were held at major religious and state sites in May 2026 to pay tribute to his service and sacrifice.
