Few third basemen in Braves history have matched Austin Riley's blend of power and consistency. His four Silver Slugger Awards from 2021 to 2024 tie him with Chipper Jones for the most by a Braves third baseman. Riley's 38 home runs in 2022 set a franchise single-season record for a third baseman, surpassing Jones's 45 in 1999. He is one of only five players in Braves history to win four Silver Sluggers at any position. In 2022, he became the youngest Brave to sign a $200 million contract, and his 10-year, $212 million deal remains the largest in franchise history.
